Canyonlands Ballooning

Hot air ballooning is a great pastime for those who want to get away from the crowds. As a result, we enjoy hot air ballooning over the rural surroundings near Moab and Castle Valley, Utah. Our fly permit covers some of the most incredible area in the country, thanks to the collaboration of the Bureau of Land Management and the State of Utah. The views from the balloon are incredible.

Our hot air balloon rides last an average of just over an hour, despite the fact that time in the air can range from 45 minutes to 1.15 hours. The length of a flight is determined by a number of factors, including wind, weather conditions, prospective landing sites, payload, altitude, temperature, and other factors. We adore flying and will do everything we can to make the flight as long as possible. The pilot-in-command makes the final choice on flight length, which is based exclusively on safety. From start to finish, the event normally takes three to four hours, so anticipate spending at least that much time.

This flight provides spectacular 360-degree vistas. It's easy to see why Hollywood uses this set for so many western and modern films. The rough red rock canyons formed by the Colorado River, hazardous rock towers and arches, Desert bighorn sheep, Mountain lion, Bobcat, Pronghorn antelope, fox, and coyote are some of the things we might view while flying. The Canyonlands are also home to a variety of raptors, including the Peregrine falcon, the Bald and Golden eagles, and the Red-tailed hawk.
