ITINERARY - ARCHES NATIONAL PARK, ROAD TRIP AND HIKING

SEE AMAZING ARCHES AND ROCK WHILE DRIVING, OR ON SHORT HIKES
A RED-ROCK WONDERLAND

Arches National Park has more than 2,000 natural stone arches and many other formations worth seeing. This is the world's biggest concentration of sandstone arches.I t has amazing sunsets and plenty of places to have a picnic and some camping. Pick up a map of the hiking trials and viewpoint and pick out a few to visit.

A paved road that all vehicles can drive takes visitors to many of the major viewpoints in the park. There are many easy walks as well as longer hikes into more remote areas. Everyone should hike Delicate Arch once in their lifetime. Check out Dark Angel for a less popular hike.

Arches National Park Suggested Activities

2-3 hours - Drive the 36 mile round trip Scenic Drive.

4-6 hours -  Drive the Scenic Drive and hike some of the easy short trails in the park, such as the Park Avenue Trail and trails in the Windows Section of the park.

Full Day - Drive the Scenic Drive and hike some of the longer trails in the park, such as the trails to Double O Arch, Tower Arch, Delicate Arch, and Landscape Arch.

Arches National Park Information

There is a fee to get into the park. Beginning 2020 Aches National Park will require timed entry tickets. You should be able to pick them up below. The earlier the better because these will sell out.
