Road conditions: very sandy, but not technically difficult.
After turning off on the Canyonlands turnoff (Hwy 211) travel approx. 20 miles to the sign for Lavender and David Canyon. You will pass Newspaper Rock on your way. There is a gate you must go through, but parking and unloading ATVs is easy in this area. Please close the gate after entering. In Lavender Canyon there are several arches. A short hike at the end of the road takes you through the gate into Canyonlands National Park. The trail leads you to amazing petroglyphs.
