Four Corners National Monument

Visit this Monument that is managed by the Navajo Nations. Four Corners National Monument is the only place in the United States of America where 4 states come together at a single point. This is where you bend over and place one of your appendages in each state and someone takes your picture. Have part of your body in Utah, Colorado, New Mexico, and Arizona all at the same time.

You will find many shops and concessionaires with authentic made Native American crafts. Often there are booths set up nearby where you can buy from local artist and jewelry makers. Visit them to learn a bit more about their cultures and life.

The marker is a bronzed disk set in granite and shows each of the state boundaries. There is an entrance fee. Make sure to bring enough supplies for your time there, the area is remote. There is a small gas station about 6 miles away in Teec Nos Pos Arizona. Make it a pit-stop on your travels or continue on to other nearby attractions like Shiprock, Monument Valley, or attractions in Bluff. While you're traveling take in the harsh desert beauty of this remote area and if you're traveling close to sunset pull over and admire the landscape under the vibrant colors of the setting sun.
