This ruin is interesting because it was not built in a cliff or cave, but is out in the open on flat ground. The kiva is very well preserved, along with the base of the tower.
This is a very easy ruin to get to and is only a short walk from the main road. Go South of Blanding 3 miles to Hwy 95 turn off. Travel west on Hwy 95 until you pass milepost 102. You will see the Mule Canyon Ruin Sign. The turn off is paved and sidewalks lead you to the ruin.
